IT-Sales Engineer role at HÖRMANN focusing on IT solutions and customer needs in Intralogistics. Bridging the gap between technical and sales teams while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
You advise our customers on IT solutions such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Flow Control (MFS) and develop tailored solutions.
You act as the technical contact in sales, translate customer requirements into technical concepts, and work closely with the IT department, various sales teams, and IT implementation to create customized solutions.
You prepare bespoke proposals that meet the individual needs of our customers and accompany the entire sales process through to contract completion.
You deliver product presentations and demonstrations, both internally and externally at customer sites.
You support the sales team in implementing IT projects and ensure smooth communication between the customer and the technical team.
You analyze the market and contribute to the further development of our IT solutions portfolio.
Requirements
University degree or equivalent qualification in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Several years of experience selling IT solutions in intralogistics or logistics is essential for this position.
Strong technical understanding, especially of WMS and MFS systems, is advantageous.
Solid knowledge of IT systems and technologies such as WMS, MFS, or comparable solutions.
You must be able to explain these concepts clearly and tailor them to customer requirements.
Business-fluent German and English are required.
You must be willing to travel regularly (approx. every two weeks for 2 days), mainly within Germany and Austria.
