Institutional Business Development Executive driving revenue from digital assets at Scope Prime. Engage with brokers and financial institutions to promote crypto liquidity and trading solutions.
Responsibilities
Business Development Management role to drive revenue from digital / crypto products and associated technology as well as taking ownership of the Group’s institutional liquidity offering from a client facing perspective, including profiling, technical business development responsibility and management of the Group’s client facing analytics offering.
Originate, manage, and close business development opportunities with brokers, asset managers, hedge funds, payment companies, and financial institutions.
Promote and sell our suite of offerings including: Institutional crypto liquidity provision (spot, derivatives, and bespoke liquidity solutions).
Digital payment and settlement solutions for businesses integrating crypto/fiat flows.
Physical crypto trading and custody services with robust security frameworks.
Leverage their existing network and industry experience / profile to further client acquisition and improve the brand perception across the globe.
Represent the company at industry events including conferences, panel moderation or participation.
Maintain a strong understanding of the industry’s technology requirements and liaise with both internal and external business stakeholders to facilitate relationships and further distribution across both established and developing technology channels including ECNs and bridge networks.
Contribute to Scope Prime’s institutional product strategy, planning, development, and delivery pipeline where appropriate
Contribute to the Scope Prime institutional marketing strategy where appropriate
Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training
When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of Scope Prime
Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
Meeting KPIs and exceeding revenue targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Contributing to trading volume and PnL increase
Requirements
5+ years’ experience in institutional business development within digital assets, FX, payments, prime brokerage, or electronic trading.
Strong knowledge of crypto liquidity structures, settlement flows, custody models, and payment rails.
Existing network of institutional clients (brokers, funds, PSPs, financial institutions).
Proven experience as a Business Development professional within the financial markets sector
Experience in relationship management and client retention
Language skills would be highly beneficial but not essential for a suitable candidate.
Business Development Management experience preferred or a demonstrable ability to work to business development performance targets
A leadership track record within institutional digital assets including trading, market making or similar.
Knowledge of other asset classes is also preferable
A strong knowledge of digital asset market technology and connectivity protocols and ability to maintain that as current
Commercially and strategically minded with a strong focus on revenue generation
An essential ability to build solid working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and externally
