About the role
- Global Business Resilience Senior Advisor developing and implementing enterprise information security policies at Elevance Health. Managing vendor resilience and third-party risk initiatives to ensure continuity and cybersecurity capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develops, recommends, and implements enterprise information security policies
- Responsible for the selection and delivery of strategic network security
- Collaborates with procurement, security, and business units to assess vendor dependencies
- Establishes and manages vendor continuity requirements
- Leads the development and execution of risk assessment methodologies
- Supports vendor-related incidents and disruptions
- Develops security incident response plans and strategies
- Creates presentations for IT management approval and acceptance
- Serves as a technical merger and acquisition lead
- Provides top-tier support for 5 or more of the information security technology common body of knowledge skill sets
Requirements
- Requires BS/BA in information Technology or related field of study
- minimum of 8 years of experience in systems administration

- experience with multiple technical and business disciplines
- requires broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems
- preferred: Business Continuity and Resilience Certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, BCI Certification, or equivalent
- preferred: Demonstrated experience managing vendor or third-party risk and resilience programs
- preferred: Proven ability to assess and improve vendor business continuity capabilities
- preferred: Experience leading or supporting incident response efforts involving external service providers
- preferred: Security Certifications: CISSP and other advanced technical security certifications
