Responsibilities
- Monitor and update cost variations for existing products within a standard costing framework.
- Participate in the month-end close process.
- Actively contribute to the team’s continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce and update monthly production data.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory transactions in the ERP system.
- Produce and update labor reporting data.
- Prepare and present analyses to operations managers across multiple plants.
- Participate in inventory counting processes (cycle counts and annual physicals).
- Assist in preparing inventory count documentation and supporting internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- CPA designation is an asset.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Macros, etc.).
- Experience with costing in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Experience with standard costing systems and ERP systems.
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) — able to communicate across Canada.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Self-directed, resourceful, organized and efficient.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
