About the role
- Finance Business Partner at Amer Sports ANZ leading FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and cross-functional financial partnership to support Retail, B2B and E-commerce growth.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Finance Director as a Finance Business Partner for Amer Sports ANZ
- Lead financial planning & analysis – deliver insights, models, and reports guiding strategy
- Own budgeting & forecasting processes that align with business goals and track performance
- Monitor & report performance – analyse trends, variances, and KPIs and present insights to senior leaders
- Ensure compliance & controls – uphold SOX and internal control requirements with the control manager
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, supply chain, sales ops, and customer service to support financial strategies
- Support channel strategy – provide financial insights for Retail, B2B, and E-commerce growth initiatives
- Enable strategic projects – contribute financial expertise to local, regional, and global initiatives
- Coach & mentor the accounting team and foster a culture of collaboration and high performance
Requirements
- CA/CPA qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in senior finance, FP&A, or business partnering roles
- Experience in multi-channel environments (Retail, B2B, E-commerce)
- Advanced skills in financial modelling, planning, and analysis (Excel & Power BI)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to influence strategy and drive improvement
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneStream)
- Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS)
