About the role
- Field Service Engineering Technician installing and maintaining print manufacturing equipment for a digital imaging company. Providing excellent customer service and coordinating regional travel.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain print production equipment at customer sites to ensure proper setup and functionality.
- Conduct pre-installation site assessments and coordinate with customers and contractors on readiness.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery issues while documenting all service activities.
- Perform equipment inspections, installations, and customer training to ensure satisfaction and operational readiness.
- Analyze customer support tickets, identify solutions, and recommend system improvements.
- Coordinate logistics of equipment and parts with operations teams.
- Complete all required documentation including service tickets, billing records, warranty forms, expense reports, and purchase logs.
Requirements
- Minimum **3 years of field service or technical experience**.
- High mechanical aptitude with strong ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Moderate proficiency in electronics for troubleshooting and repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail in service delivery and documentation.
