Perform field troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, parts inventory, and customer interfacing for Xylem's industrial and commercial water systems.
Responsibilities
Initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner
Proactive system troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
Conduct preventative maintenance and manage parts inventory
Anticipate and correct safety issues on Company and Customer owned equipment
Direct interfacing with customers and responsibility for work in multiple systems/locations/customers
Create and maintain safe working environment and culture
Take care of company property and demonstrate high impact culture through innovation, accountability and empowerment
Function in a team environment and often work with minimal supervision or independently
Requirements
Some travel required
20%-80% travel depending on division & location (overnight stays, away from home)
Able to lift and move 45 LBS frequently at times

Reverse Osmosis experience (preferred)
Water Softeners experience (preferred)
General Water Purification experience (preferred)
Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
Clean driving record
Work experience preferred
2 to 5 years of technical work experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
Electrical, mechanical, fusion experience depending on business unit
Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
Must have customer service experience
Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
