About the role
- Field Service Engineer responsible for installation and servicing of complex systems globally. Engaging with customers and ensuring operational quality of equipment in field settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems
- Investigate and approve operational quality of system equipment
- Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
- Occasionally travel to customer sites to solve problems or support other field service personnel
- Cultivate and develop positive working relationships with customers and company personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Material, Electronics, Physics or Chemistry
- 2-7 years hands on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating sophisticated analysis tools such as SEM, TEM, FIB
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Strong organizing and executive ability
- Proven track record to troubleshooting sophisticated systems to component level
- Experience on troubleshooting and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems is helpful
