Responsibilities
Reporting to the Analytical Development and Chromatography Manager, you will contribute to analytical development aimed at harmonizing visualization/detection reagents and techniques in preparation for introduction to an automated system
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the visualizing reagents and visualization/detection techniques currently in use (immersion/dipping, spray, etc.)
Perform a literature review to understand visualization/detection mechanisms, identify reagents suited to our needs, and propose harmonization or consolidation solutions
Execute an experimental testing phase using existing TLC (Thin-Layer Chromatography) protocols to evaluate the selected solutions
Update all associated documentation: analytical protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, etc.
Requirements
You are completing a Master's-level degree (Bac+5) in Analytical Chemistry and are seeking a 12-month work-study placement
You have knowledge of chromatography and experience in scientific writing
You are autonomous and rigorous (self-directed and detail-oriented)
You have strong interpersonal skills
You have a good level of English
