About the role
- Civil Engineering professional managing water resources projects for Lochmueller Group. Seeking a Professional Engineer with significant experience in wastewater, drinking water, and/or stormwater projects.
Responsibilities
- Work as a project engineer and/or project manager with responsibility for wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater projects.
- May supervise work groups which include engineers and/or technicians.
- Ensure project designs are in conformance with the latest design specifications.
- Perform design quantity computations and checks.
- Plans, schedules, or coordinates the preparation of documents or activities for projects.
- Provide mentorship to junior level staff.
- Understand and work with surveying data provided from survey department.
- Read and interpret schematic and construction plans.
- Apply a variety of specification regulations, policies and standards to assure compliance with various Federal, State, and local rules and regulations.
- Review operational practices to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures.
- Complete other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or other applicable engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- 7+ years of experience in this discipline
- Experience as project engineer or project manager for wastewater, drinking water, and/or stormwater design projects
- Experience with project management and accounting software is helpful
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
