- Deductions Analyst at PurposeBuilt Brands responsible for deduction resolutions and researching payment discrepancies. Collaborating with Accounting and handling various financial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze deductions and short payments on invoices paid
- Perform weekly calls to customers and brokers for deduction documents
- Ensure all outstanding deductions are researched and resolved
- Analyze information to process incomplete payments from customer
- Complete and process approved credits
- Responsible for filing freight claim forms
- Handle all follow up with freight carriers on outstanding freight claims
- Assist with account receivables functions when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Basic Accounting experience with Deductions and Cash Application
- Proficient with Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- Strong communications skills both verbally and written
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
