About the role
- Credit Officer overseeing hedge funds and asset managers within Financial Institutions Credit team. Collaborating with internal teams and presenting reviews to senior executives in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Financial Institutions Credit team in Commercial Banking Risk
- Handle a variety of funds (pension schemes, wealth managers, and governments)
- Oversee hedge funds and asset managers while supporting team dynamics
- Collaborate with Sales, relationship managers, Legal and Onboarding
- Submit reviews and present to senior executives
- Participate in personal development and team support
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of hedge fund credit analysis and experience of analysing other financial institutions
- A proven understanding of traded products (swaps, TRS, FX and repurchase agreements) and the associated legal documentation (e.g. ISDA, CSA and GMRA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to set credit risk appetite and ensure it is well communicated to stakeholders
- Experience running a portfolio of counterparts, reviewing limits, ratings, and portfolio concentrations
- Keen to contribute to a unique FI Credit culture
