About the role

  • Accounts Payable Assistant managing financial transactions for DMS Logistics. Involves payment processing, cash flow management, and financial reporting within a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Organization and provisioning of cash flow
  • Control and scheduling of payments to suppliers, service providers, and operational and administrative expenses in the system
  • Supplier support and interface with internal departments
  • Management of deadlines and due dates, and support for monthly closings
  • Participation in projects and support in negotiations
  • Updating and analysis of periodic financial reports
  • Monitoring variances between actual results and budget
  • Support in cost and expense control
  • Consolidation of information from different areas

Requirements

  • Must reside in Rio de Janeiro
  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics
  • Intermediate to advanced English — will be tested
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (functions such as IF, VLOOKUP, date and text manipulation, as well as creating PivotTables and charts)
  • Knowledge of Income Statement (DRE), cash flow, and budgeting
  • Basic understanding of tax withholdings (INSS, IR, ISS, etc.) — a plus
