About the role
- Legal Counsel managing corporate law responsibilities for Veepee, a leading e-commerce platform. Interfacing with financial and legal departments, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate governance.
Responsibilities
- You will report to the Group General Secretary
- You will handle the group's corporate follow-up
- Management of the group's corporate entities portfolio
- Preparation, organization and coordination of Boards of Directors, General Meetings and the parent company's President decisions
- Monitoring corporate mandates and their renewals
- Drafting, monitoring and updating, where necessary, delegations of authority and signing powers
- Implementation of share issuance and buyback operations
- Participation in the group's restructuring and development operations
- Monitoring the corporate aspects of the endowment fund
- Keeping and updating statutory registers
- Management and follow-up of legal formalities
- Maintaining dashboards
- Supporting other departments on any matters related to company law and governance
- Conducting regulatory and case law monitoring of French company law
Requirements
- Graduate degree (postgraduate/third-cycle) in Business Law / Company Law, ideally complemented by the CAPA (French Bar Admission Certificate)
- You have solid company law experience of at least 4 years within the Corporate legal department of a company, preferably in an international environment
- High level of rigor and strong organizational skills
- Autonomy, responsiveness and pragmatism
- Team spirit and good interpersonal skills
- Good command of English
