Responsibilities

- Contribute to the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort
- Engage in creating technical documentation for satellite communications systems

Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in technical writing for complex software systems, developer tools, or enterprise applications
- Proven ability to author, edit, and maintain a wide range of technical documentation including API references, system architecture guides, user manuals, and onboarding materials
- Proficiency with documentation tools and platforms such as Confluence, Markdown, Sphinx, DITA, or similar
- Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and QA, to extract and document technical details
- Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git), issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), and documentation pipelines integrated with code repositories
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to write for both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring tone and depth accordingly.
