About the role
- Assistant Vice Chancellor and Associate General Counsel responsible for legal affairs at WashU Medicine. Involves corporate agreements, compliance, and advising medical school leadership.
Responsibilities
- Draft and finalize corporate agreements and other documents for complex clinical relationships with BJC and other entities
- Analyze clinical transactions and advise the medical school’s leadership on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
- Provide legal support and advice on corporate structures, prepare corporate documents, employment agreements, and other operating agreements
- Serve as the primary legal contact for the WashU Medicine managed care contracting team
- Collaborate with BJC legal counsel on joint clinical enterprise legal issues
Requirements
- J.D. - Juris Doctor
- Missouri Bar Association certification
- Progressively Responsible Law Practice (7 Years)
