Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with funeral directors, cemetery owners, and preneed managers.
Promote offering from subsidiary and partner organizations.
Identify and secure new funeral home accounts through networking and outreach.
Drive consistent sales growth in new and existing accounts.
Assist new accounts with licensing, contracting, product training, and marketing support.
Serve as a key liaison to maintain long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.
Track and update account data, monitor industry trends, and maintain records.
Requirements
Bachelor level degree in business management is preferred or equivalent job experience.
6+ years B2B traveling sales experience.
Funeral industry knowledge is preferred.
Must possess excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing agendas.
Must be in the state of Michigan or Ohio.
Must be willing, and be available, to travel extensively by car or air up to 80% of time.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
Must meet and maintain the appropriate state-licensing requirement to represent life insurance products in their assigned territory.
