Responsibilities
- Shape a modern, global audit function at Zurich Cover-More
- Plan and deliver complex audits, defining interim and target-state audit approaches
- Collaborate with Group Audit’s Centres of Excellence
- Apply innovative audit techniques to deliver meaningful and forward-looking outcomes
- Develop and evolve a dynamic, risk-based audit plan for Zurich Cover-More
- Determine audit scope, key risks, and right testing approaches
- Deliver high-quality audits on time and within budget
- Prepare and deliver clear, impactful audit reports to senior management
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across Zurich Cover-More and Zurich Group
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the audit team
Requirements
- 10+ years of Internal Audit, Risk, or Compliance experience in the insurance industry, or 8+ years in insurance business roles with strong exposure to risks and controls
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or relevant qualification (CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent, MBA or equivalent an asset)
- Strong knowledge of travel insurance or the ability to quickly understand its unique operational and risk dynamics
- Deep understanding of Internal Audit Standards, audit methodology, and internal control frameworks, including strong report writing skills
- Experience operating within complex, fast-moving, global organizations and navigating varying levels of audit maturity
- Excellent relationship management, influencing, and stakeholder engagement capabilities across all seniority levels
- Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to organize teams, prioritize effectively, and coach others to deliver high-quality audit outcomes
- Meaningful experience or strong aptitude with new world skills such as Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI-enabled audit techniques
