- Corporate Lawyer specializing in complex contracts within the automotive industry. Leading negotiations and providing legal guidance on various contractual matters.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts (standard and non-standard), including commercial agreements, supplier/vendor contracts, technology agreements, confidentiality agreements, service agreements and strategic partnership agreements
- Proactive and advisory work in contracts and civil law matters in general, with a focus on legal efficiency and risk mitigation
- Leading negotiation meetings with internal stakeholders, suppliers and business partners, acting as the technical reference on contractual matters
- Providing advisory support to internal teams, offering legal guidance on contracts, civil law and related topics
- Developing and improving policies, processes and contract templates, with a focus on applying legal technology to achieve scalability and efficiency
- Supporting multidisciplinary projects and operations that require a broad legal perspective, autonomy and decision-making capability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in contracts and civil advisory, specifically within corporate legal departments
- Advanced English, with the ability to review, negotiate and communicate clearly in English
- Advanced Spanish is a plus
- Strong communicator with solid negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships across business areas
- Ability to work autonomously, with strategic vision and a collaborative mindset
- Proven experience with complex contracts
- Postgraduate qualification in Contract Law is a plus
- Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement, with two days per week at the Sorocaba/SP office
