About the role
- IT Security Specialist ensuring the security and stability of IT operations in Ahrensburg, collaborating with Corporate IT and Security teams to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the IT landscape remains secure, stable, and future-proof
- Identify security risks and utilize modern tools such as Microsoft Defender for analysis
- Assess security incidents, derive countermeasures and implement them
- Further develop the endpoint security landscape
- Work on Identity & Access Management, Global Secure Access, Microsoft Defender for Cloud/Container, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN
- Support audits, document relevant security measures, and create transparency around security processes
- Design and deliver training to increase security awareness across the company
Requirements
- Background in IT or security
- Experience in IT security as well as system and network administration
- Knowledge of incident response and Windows/Linux, Entra ID, M365 Security, firewalls, and networking
- Experience in cloud security, scripting, or DevOps/DevSecOps (ideal)
- Understanding of common security standards
