About the role
- Senior Finance & Accounting Manager overseeing accounting operations for clients, ensuring GAAP compliance and leading financial analysis and reporting processes. Collaborating with technology teams on ERP/accounting system design.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee accounting operations for clients, including month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Ensure GAAP compliance, accurate technical accounting, and high-quality financial reporting
- Serve as primary liaison with external auditors and support audit processes
- Provide financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting in support of client objectives
- Partner with technology teams on ERP/accounting system design and implementation
- Act as the key point of contact for executives, boards, and private equity stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance teams to ensure excellence in deliverables
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and the scope of services
- Support strategic FP&A initiatives (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) as needed
Requirements
- CPA required; Big 4 or public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Corporate accounting leadership also considered
- 7–15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s a plus)
- Expertise in month-end close, technical accounting, financial reporting, and audits
- Exposure to FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and financial reporting systems
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing client relationships
