Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with small-to-medium-sized businesses with up to $10 million in annual revenues.
Deliver customized financial solutions with total credit exposure of up to $3 million.
Provide expert financial advice and full-service business banking including lending, deposit, and non-credit products.
Perform end-to-end relationship management from sourcing and analyzing client opportunities to structuring loans and monitoring portfolio performance.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance client value.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals and network.
Conduct client and prospect meetings to assess financial needs and challenges.
Perform financial analysis to determine creditworthiness and recommend loan structures.
Negotiate loan terms and manage an active loan portfolio ensuring compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred, or equivalent experience demonstrated through a combination of the following: work and military experience, and education/training.
Experienced Business Lender with 5+ years of new business development experience and direct sourcing and prospecting new clients.
5+ years of business lending experience in the financial industry along with a proven history of managing relationships, developing new business, sustaining consistent production, and ability to perform in multiple goal categories.
Demonstrated proficiency in working with key internal resources.
Must have experience with utilizing a CRM system to manage and monitor progress in sales pipeline toward converting prospects to customers.
Must have strong knowledge of business lending, consumer lending, and deposit products.
Must have credit experience, loan structuring, and financial statement analysis.
Must have proficiency with analyzing applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine ability and capacity to repay and service debt.
Basic Knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position is required.
Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures, and related programs.
Ability to travel within the WSFS Bank footprint.
