About the role
- IT Operations Manager responsible for developing IT infrastructure in hybrid work setting at international company in Bochum. Engage in system administration, network management, and security measures.
Responsibilities
- Operational management and further development of the entire IT infrastructure
- Administration of Windows servers, Active Directory, Exchange and M365
- Maintenance and optimization of the virtualized environment (e.g., Hyper-V)
- Ensuring a reliable network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls)
- Planning and operation of monitoring, analytics and security solutions
- Implementation of IT security measures and development of technical concepts
- 1st- and 2nd-level support for employees on site
- Documentation and participation in exciting IT and digitalization projects
Requirements
- Vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in IT operations or system administration
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft server environment and M365
- Experience in networking and with security solutions
- Structured, solution-oriented approach to work
- Enjoys working in a team and good communication skills
