Responsibilities
Drive performance and delivery excellence through the strategic management of the Construction function across a framework of brownfield EPCm projects delivering an upgrade of automation controls and cyber security systems.
Support and assure delivery excellence across all Construction requirements and will lead by example, consistently displaying and enforcing the Company’s values and behaviours, role modelling commitment to the highest standards of safe and ethical behaviour and creating an inclusive work environment.
Responsible for functional management and development of resources and governance of discipline practices and procedures.
Provide leadership to Lead/Principal personnel and have functional oversight of the performance of all relevant construction cross the framework.
Requirements
Typically, minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma/apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
Previous experience in managing a team of construction personnel
Appropriate level of field construction experience
Exposure to working within a technical environment
Experience of people management in a construction context
Broad understanding of the business drivers for relevant industry sector clients
Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of the business internal and external
Leads on recruitment and selection and sets tone for culture within team: significantly impacts on performance, engagement, productivity and retention of construction and commissioning resources
