Responsibilities
Assist in managing strategic supply chain projects, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across assigned spend categories.
Lead supply chain projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
Assist in developing project plans, milestones, and progress to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
Help mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate area Requests for Proposal (RFPs), manage project budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
Contribute to supplier performance reviews and support supplier development initiatives.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain projects.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in supply chain project management, procurement, or related roles.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) or CASCPM desirable.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Demonstratable interpersonal and communication skills
General knowledge of project management, financial analysis, and purchasing.
Solid analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, and performance measurement.
