About the role
- Senior AP1000 Engineer supporting AP1000 Front End Engineering projects and project development activities at Westinghouse. Reporting to an AP1000 Project Engineering Manager with a hybrid work schedule in Cranberry Township, PA.
Responsibilities
- Support Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution on AP1000 Front End Engineering contracts and new plant project development activities
- Oversee the managing the schedule and budgeting
- Be the lead contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator
- Responsible for discipline representation in the Project Review Meetings
- Support Project Engineering Managers and Design Technical Leads
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear or Mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, previous experience on AP1000 design
- Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas: Nuclear systems design
- Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design
- NSSS components design and analyses
- Piping layout and analysis
- Licensing
- Plant layout integration
- Digital Design (Including document and data management
- Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering
- Electrical design
