About the role
- SAP Basis Administrator maintaining technical operation and optimization of SAP landscapes for clients. Supporting users and consultants in migration and new projects in the SAP environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the smooth technical operation, maintenance and further development of our clients' SAP system landscapes.
- Ensuring that their SAP environments run stably, securely and with high performance.
- Supporting business units, key users and functional consultants with technical expertise in SAP migration and new implementation projects.
- Responsible for the execution and supervision of SAP Basis projects.
- Preparing technical analyses, documentation and system reports.
- Supporting, advising and training SAP key users and internal business units on technical matters.
- Close collaboration with other IT departments to integrate SAP systems into broader applications or platforms.
Requirements
- Solid expertise in the administration, maintenance and optimization of SAP systems.
- Experience working with SAP HANA as well as traditional databases such as Oracle.
- Confident working knowledge of server operating systems (Linux / Windows), virtualization platforms and network technologies.
- Experience performing system upgrades, patches and release migrations.
- Strong ability to analyze faults, isolate issues and troubleshoot in complex SAP landscapes.
- Very good MS Office skills.
- Team player with strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work.
- High initiative, sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills when liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
