About the role

SAP ABAP Consultant creating and implementing solutions within S/4HANA using modern technologies. Collaborating with teams and ensuring adherence to SAP standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design, analysis, and development of modern SAP solutions within the S/4HANA environment, leveraging technologies such as RAP, CDS, and Fiori Elements.
Design technical specifications and offer clear technical solutions that fit in the design with the overall architecture strategy and framework for SAP ABAP and S/4HANA.
Ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core principles by designing and implementing solutions that minimize custom code and leverage standard SAP functionalities.
Deliver clean, high-quality implementations that adhere to current standards and best practices in ABAP development.
Collaborate with SAP functional team and business colleagues to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the delivery of proposed solutions.

University degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications or courses on ABAP for HANA and S/4HANA are a big plus
5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP, SAP FIORI, and ABAP Cloud
Strong knowledge of CDS views, OData services, ABAP for HANA, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, RAP, SAP UI5/FIORI, app development, and data migration
Skilled in enhancements, user exits, BAPIs, and integration technologies.
Understanding of SAP Clean Core concepts, with proven experience in delivering solutions that align with SAP’s best practices, would be a plus.
Experience with SAP Build and low-code/no-code platforms to design extensions and workflows that support SAP Clean Core principles would be a plus.
Speak fluent business English and German.
