About the role
- Quality Assurance Specialist for Payroll Software supporting compliance with German regulations. Collaborating with product management and development to ensure accurate implementation of software functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the Quality Assurance team and take responsibility for the functional validation of our payroll software
- Work closely with product management and development
- Evaluate legislative changes and derive concrete functional requirements
- Create and execute functional test cases
- Perform compliance and quality tests, including structured documentation
- Assess risks arising from legal changes and define appropriate quality assurance measures
- Support release and approval processes
Requirements
- Several years of experience in payroll processing
- Excellent knowledge of tax and social security law as well as payroll reporting
- Confident interpretation of statutory requirements
- Analytical, structured working style and strong quality awareness
- Enjoy professional exchange and cross-functional collaboration
- Nice to have: Experience testing payroll systems or working in project environments; basic technical understanding of software processes
