About the role
- Manager in Fund Services at Vistra responsible for financial control and reporting services for clients. Collaborates with finance teams and oversees management accounts and operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality outsourced financial control and financial reporting service including preparation of AASB compliant financial statements
- Collaborate with the client’s finance team on daily processing, financial reporting, tax matters, entity management needs and reporting to their internal management and key stakeholders
- Ensure that financial records are maintained and reported in compliance with lawful and accepted procedures and policies
- Prepare of monthly management accounts and manage the entire financial reporting process. This includes annual lifecycle planning, audit management & oversight, financial statement review and processing
- Oversee and be responsible to coordinate with our offshore and onshore team to run the weekly vendor management and AP payment function
- Coordinate the monthly recharge and expense management function for the client
- Assist the team for entity governance function with ASIC for the client
- Ensure all work performed by Vistra GSCs are performed in-line with agreed SLA’s
- Identify operational improvement through standardisation, simplification, technology and use of GSCs
Requirements
- Strong project management skills
- Strong knowledge of AASB Accounting standards
- Ideally have knowledge of Fund investment structures in Australia
- Have a high level of resilience and ability to multi-task and be comfortable with managing difficult situations as they arise
- Experienced in managing corporate accounting function for a high-volume transaction client
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Takes a leading role in clear and effective communication with the client and across Vistra
- Strong communicator to various stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, auditors and suppliers.
