Responsibilities
The Regional Business Director (RBD) – Northeast Region is responsible for driving new business sales of VirtaMed simulators and services across hospitals, universities, and healthcare institutions.
Focuses on new account acquisition, relationship development with key decision-makers, and revenue growth across multiple clinical specialties.
Success in this role is measured by annual revenue attainment, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction.
Drive sales for VirtaMed simulators and services within the Northeast Region to new and current customers.
Sell across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Urology, and future specialties as introduced.
Achieve annual revenue goals defined by the company.
Generate new sales opportunities through field sales activities, cold calling, and outbound prospecting.
Attend local and national conferences and trade shows to build networks.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in account management or sales in Medical Device sales, or Regional Sales Manager.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across multiple stakeholder levels.
Self-motivated, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building new relationships.
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 40–50%) for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering or related medical field.
