About the role
- Head of Security for G+D Group Services defining and implementing security strategies. Collaborating on integrated security risk management and incident management.
Responsibilities
- Define local and implement the global security strategy in line with external and internal requirements, in close collaboration with the relevant business units and Corporate Security teams.
- Take ownership of integrated security risk management and reporting in accordance with corporate policies.
- Manage local security incidents, emergencies and crisis situations.
- Conduct local internal security audits, coordinate external audits, and lead corrective action mitigation measures.
- Promote information sharing on significant threats, vulnerabilities and risks within G+D Group Services (GS).
- Approve GS policies, security-related directives and processes that are aligned with the corporate security strategy.
- Manage major security-related incidents, emergencies and crisis situations.
- Act as the point of contact for GS IT to advise on global projects regarding architecture and policy compliance.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security/Information Security or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in security roles.
- Experience with internal investigations and incident management.
- Experience in physical security (access control/badge systems, video surveillance, etc.) and personal security (handling certificates of conduct, background checks during contracting, etc.).
- Relevant certifications in information security management are mandatory (e.g., CISSP, ISO 2700x).
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with relevant standards and frameworks, e.g., ISO 27xxx, Common Criteria, PCI-CPP and GSMA SAS guidelines, NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Ability to communicate security issues appropriately to different audiences.
- Solid knowledge of risk management processes.
- Ability to develop and defend technical recommendations and budget plans.
- Strong knowledge of key ITIL process standards.
- IT and security architecture expertise.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
