About the role

• (Senior) Consultant for Information Security ensuring the safety of digital futures for customers. Collaborating with enterprises to mitigate InfoSec risks and create trusted partnerships.

Responsibilities

• In this role you take responsibility for the security of the digital future — not only for our clients but for entire value chains.
• You provide comprehensive advice to companies on all aspects of information security — from governance and risk management to the selection and implementation of security software.
• You analyze existing security architectures, identify areas for improvement, and develop tailored solutions.
• You take technical leadership of individual workstreams or entire project teams and oversee the implementation of IT security measures — from planning through deployment.
• You conduct risk analyses and security assessments and derive concrete measures to strengthen resilience.
• You design and support awareness campaigns to sustainably strengthen security awareness within organizations.
• You actively use and expand your existing network to acquire new clients and build long-term partnerships.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant professional experience in information security or cyber security — ideally in consulting with a focus on conceptual design and operational implementation.
• Initial experience leading technical workstreams or (sub)projects, strong communication skills, and confidence working with relevant standards and regulations — in particular DORA, NIS2, IT-Grundschutz or ISO/IEC 27001.
• Solid knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC); implementation & optimization of an ISMS; information risk management; selection & implementation of security tools; BCM / ITSCM; security IT architecture; cloud security; identity & access management; SIEM / SOC / SOAR; leading security projects.
• Completed relevant university degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration) or comparable qualification.
• A reliable professional network and the willingness to actively use it for project acquisition and client relationships.
