Responsibilities
The Stock Data Quality team aims to ensure the quality of stock data throughout the stock lifecycle: from its creation in the warehouse to its use in downstream processes such as stock valuation, inventory management, etc., and for all stock attributes: quantity, ownership, stock age, movement types, and more. This team, reporting to Inventory Management, works closely with IT (VP Tech) and business teams to act on both technological and process levers to improve this data.
As a Data Analyst focused on continuous improvement within this team, you will be responsible for daily monitoring of stock data anomalies, implementing temporary mitigation actions, improving monitoring tools, identifying recurring anomalies, and reporting activity using KPIs. This foundation will support the implementation of corrective actions identified by the Stock Data Quality team in collaboration with IT and business teams.
Monitor existing tools daily to ensure correct propagation of stock data.
When monitoring tools raise alerts, analyze the root causes of the alerts.
Create tickets with tech and business teams and follow up on ticket resolution.
Propose additional tools to strengthen monitoring or alerting.
Produce daily or twice-weekly reports on observed discrepancies to inform thinking on longer-term corrective actions.
Build and distribute quality monitoring KPIs.
Participate in identifying corrective actions.
Define the scope of these actions.
Develop a project plan that accounts for IT deliveries, process redefinition, and change management.
Define KPIs to measure expected gains.
Communicate project progress and escalate alerts.
Requirements
Degree from a business school or a degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
Good knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel for creating pivot tables and charts
SQL
Metabase (desired)

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS
