About the role

Responsibilities
- Part of the team responsible for implementing project management activities in the field of fusion research funding
- Plan and organize national and international research funding programmes and activities
- Advise and support prospective applicants and funding applicants
- Review, assess and accompany research projects
- Analyze and evaluate new trends in research and development
- Advise clients and contracting authorities on strategic and technical matters
- Support the design and implementation of innovation-support measures
Requirements
- Master's degree and doctoral degree (PhD) in Physics
- In-depth knowledge of fusion research and/or related areas of physics
- Initial experience in industry and/or research environments
- Interest in innovation and research policy
- Some experience working in interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently
- Confident interaction with stakeholders
- Good communication skills; ability to engage at eye level
- Enjoy presenting complex topics in an understandable way
- Excellent German (C2) and strong English (C1)
