About the role

Responsibilities
- Join Elevate Programme to help fund real projects and protect public money
- Work across multiple live schemes and learn the full grant lifecycle
- Turn applications, evidence, and reporting into clear stories and recommendations
- Spot risk early and fix issues before they become challenges
- Improve how schemes run, ensuring good applicants move faster and weak submissions handled consistently
- Guide applicants through requirements, assessing applications against published criteria
- Write sharp assessment summaries for decision panels
- Track delivery against milestones and outputs
- Analyse recipient financial and performance reports
- Identify delivery, financial, and compliance risks and escalate with options and evidence
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Find process fixes that reduce risk and improve quality
Requirements
- Clear writing and confident communication
- Strong analysis and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret rules and apply them consistently
- Sound judgement, with confidence to escalate early
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Grant lifecycle experience, especially in government or public-sector delivery is a plus
- Exposure to due diligence across different applicant types is a plus
- Spotlight and or Creditsafe experience is brilliant but not essential
