About the role
- Risk Analyst Lead managing AI risk assessments for USAA, coordinating with multiple oversight teams and driving risk-based decision making. Mentoring junior team members and aggregating insights for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Identify and seek key partners across the enterprise to support the management of risks and controls
- Present findings and recommendations to various levels of leadership
- Routinely communicate results of risk assessments to governance committees, business process owners and various levels of leadership
- Develop strategies, tools, and methodologies to measure, monitor, and report risks
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify, assess, aggregate and mitigate current and emerging risk events
- Formulate stress test plans for a line of business or the enterprise
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 8 years of risk management, regulatory or operations experience in a relevant functional area
- Or advanced degree/designation in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or other field relevant to risk management and 6 years of work experience in a subject area relevant to risk management
- Knowledge of risk management principles, tools and applicable systems
- Risk management experience in a complex institution and/or highly matrixed environment
- Experience in conflict resolution management
- Ability to work with both internal and external partners
- Critical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint.
