About the role
- Senior E-Commerce & Marketing Consultant in a growth-focused Shopify agency. Consulting successful e-commerce brands on marketing and conversion optimization in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Strategic consulting for successful Shopify e‑commerce brands (7–9‑figure), with a focus on marketing, conversion rate optimization (CRO) and growth
- Developing and implementing data‑driven growth strategies together with clients
- Using modern AI tools to efficiently execute recommended measures and automate processes
- Analyzing conversion pipelines, marketing funnels and customer journeys — and deriving actionable recommendations
- Working closely with clients as partners: presenting strategies, running workshops and jointly executing projects
- Building, testing and optimizing AI‑driven workflows (e.g., LLMs, automations, no‑/low‑code tools)
- Proactively identifying growth opportunities and automation potential
- Objective: deliver measurable value to clients and reduce internal implementation effort through AI‑supported solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in e‑commerce, marketing or CRO with demonstrable successes at Shopify brands
- Strong consulting skills: confident in conversations with decision‑makers and persuasive through strategy, data and expertise
- Hands‑on mentality: you not only design strategies but also build tools, automations or workflows yourself
- Experience with modern AI tools
- Analytical thinking and experience with funnels, KPIs, A/B testing and conversion optimization
- Structured, independent working style and high willingness to learn
- Confident client communication in German and English
- Bonus (not required): experience with automation tools such as Make or Zapier
- Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript or similar technologies
- Prior agency or consulting experience in e‑commerce
