Manager of Benefits Programs responsible for employee benefit programs at Travelers. Overseeing health, wellness, retirement initiatives in Canada, the UK, and Ireland.
Responsibilities
Key point of contact for external vendors; responsible for relationship management of vendors within assigned program.
Analyze benefit plans and make recommendations for design changes.
Create well-defined metrics to measure the success of the components of the program.
Identify needs and find solutions that can be implemented across Travelers.
Manage communications to support programs both internally and externally.
Work on escalated tasks cross functionally, if needed.
May lead corporate wide initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s and/or associate degree or equivalent.
6+ years’ experience in retirement, wellness, healthcare plans or related benefits field.
Experience using HR Technology platforms and/or Healthcare data warehouse.
Experience leading and managing complex projects.
Analytical skills necessary to evaluate and understand current data and systems, find deficiencies/opportunities, and recommend changes.
Ability to set priorities and ensure high standards in the development of benefit design and program compliance deliverables.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge and understanding of management principles, budget and cost controls.
Must be a creative and critical thinker.
Must be able to work effectively with internal and external teams.
Highly ethical and can maintain confidentiality.
