About the role
- Trade Compliance Analyst managing customs and compliance data for Canadian operations. Ensuring adherence to trade regulations and supporting internal audits and CBSA requests from the Toro Company.
Responsibilities
- Broker management
- HS classification
- Monitoring changes to the Canadian tariff and duty rates
- Maintaining electronic recordkeeping of documentation and data for customs entries and amendments (B3 & B2)
- Extracting and analyzing trade data from CARM, customs brokers, and internal software to perform internal compliance audits, resolve identified issues, and perform corrective actions
- Performing CUSMA and other free trade qualification analysis
- Assisting in all projects relative to CBSA requests & audits
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or supply chain operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; professional certification in supply chain preferred
- Specialized certification in trade compliance (e.g., customs compliance, international trade regulations)
- Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and Mexican customs regulations
