Responsibilities
Conduct studies and analyses of the current regulation in the power sector, including rules, standards and procedures of key sector institutions such as MME, ANEEL, ONS, EPE and CCEE;
Support the preparation of regulatory studies and monitor changes in power sector regulation, including analysis and the drafting of contributions for public hearings and consultations promoted by ANEEL and MME;
Provide regulatory support to the Executive Board and other business areas, such as asset management, new business, self‑generation, market and financial studies, price formation and centralized dispatch, among others;
Develop comparative studies and benchmarking at the national and international level, evaluating regulatory and market practices;
Act as a liaison with sector bodies, monitoring technical and regulatory discussions relevant to the business;
Maintain relationships with clients, providing clarifications and technical‑regulatory support when necessary;
Ensure the correct interpretation and application of regulatory standards and the procedures for electricity commercialization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration and/or Economics;
Intermediate English is desirable;
Experience in studies, modeling and regulatory strategies for power generation and commercialization is desirable;
Knowledge of the electricity commercialization rules of the CCEE (Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica) is desirable;
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Word;
Strong reading, writing and text interpretation skills.
