Responsibilities
Manage a team of professional employees to oversee the design, delivery and administration of training programs
Manage the employee capability development needs of the business by reviewing and approving current learning and development programs
Enhance the performance of individual employees
Manage policy and strategy implementation for short-term results
Ensure that policies and practices are understood by direct reports
Communicate with leadership to develop management skills and implement best leadership practices within the organization
Requirements
University (Degree) Preferred
5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
Excellent consulting skills
Ability to conduct a learning needs/gap analysis
Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Proven people leadership skills
Deep knowledge of adult learning principles
TIAA business acumen
Thorough understanding of human resources functions and procedures
Understanding of Learning systems (Learning Management System, Learning Experience platform, etc.)
Working knowledge of AI in Learning systems
