Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day finance operations for the company and its subsidiaries
- Own accounts payable/receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and employee expense processing
- Report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with the Intermediate Company Accountant
- Support the finance team in various tasks and respond to financial requests from across the organization
- Be meticulous with a strong attention to detail to underpin the finance function during a phase of accelerated growth
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality control
- Ability to work independently and manage own priorities; self-starter attitude
- Strong proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
- Experience in multi-entity and/or project-based environments is an asset
- Familiarity or experience with expense and AP Automation would be looked upon favourably
- Fluency in English required, bilingual an asset
