About the role

Responsibilities
- Integration and technical management of command and weapon employment systems within complex projects.
- Development of design concepts for command and weapon employment systems based on specific customer requirements.
- Preparation of request-for-quote and purchase specifications for technical components and providing technical support to procurement.
- Coordination of subcontractor deliverables and ensuring integration of their contributions into the overall project.
- Technical point of contact for internal departments as well as domestic and international customers, and clarification of technical issues during the project.
- Preparation of interface specifications and their implementation into manufacturing and engineering documentation.
- Planning and organization of interface and system tests and support through to successful acceptance by the client.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering (m/f/d) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical/scientific qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the defense technology sector or in comparable technology-intensive industries.
- Solid knowledge of system integration and its application in complex technical projects.
- Intercultural competence for successful collaboration with international project partners.
- Fluent communication in German and English, with the ability to clearly convey technical information.
- Proficient with common MS Office applications and engineering tools such as DOORS NG and Teamcenter.
- Willingness to undertake project-related business trips domestically and abroad.
