Responsibilities
- Plan for, identify and document standards, processes and guidance for custom applications user interfaces
- Conduct accessibility testing and ensure applications provide a consistent, responsive experience across devices
- Review applications for meeting accessibility WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
- Research, identify and document standards for user interfaces in .Net environment
- Develop and document processes to ensure ongoing changes meet accessibility standards
- Analyze tasks and provide input into estimates and timelines
- Prepare for and conduct presentations to communicate changes
Requirements
- 8+ years of advanced level experience designing web-based application user interfaces that are accessible and mobile friendly to users
- 8+ years of advanced level experience with front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and modern JavaScript frameworks)
- 8+ years of advanced level experience identifying, documenting and implementing accessibility, mobile and usability standards
- 8+ years of experience using Accessibility tools and techniques
- Experience designing user interfaces using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma for prototyping, user flows and wireframes
- Knowledge of universal design principles
- Experience working independently to complete tasks
