About the role
- Finance Analyst managing project funding for renewable energy initiatives in a hybrid role. Involvement in M&A, financial modeling, and corporate financing for the group.
Responsibilities
- Financing of renewable energy power plant projects, primarily photovoltaic and anaerobic digestion (biogas)
- Prepare financing applications
- Launch banking consultations (solicit proposals from banks)
- Prepare and maintain data rooms
- Develop financial models
- Analyze various due diligence reports
- M&A: Study investment opportunities in France and internationally (India, Spain, Netherlands)
- Modeling and valuation of Ready-to-Build and operational projects that are of strategic interest to the Group
- Conduct due diligences on development, technical, legal and financial matters
- Contribute to the development of financial models
- Create presentation materials for investment committees
- Corporate financing: Build our financial models for the Group’s different business activities
- Implement financing arrangements at the Group level
- Prepare committee memos (risks and opportunities, analyses, commitments)
- Valuation of our assets
- Financing contract lifecycle: Update the Group debt monitoring tool
- Prepare annual reporting (bank covenants/ratios, financial statements, etc.) for lenders and to fulfill the various commitments set out in financing contracts.
Requirements
- Final-year student or on an academic gap year at a top engineering or business school, or equivalent university program
- Basic knowledge of financial modeling, accounting and tax concepts, financial mathematics and valuation techniques (NPV, IRR, DCF)
- Efficient, rigorous, autonomous and focused on meeting deadlines
- Professional-level English required and strong proficiency with office tools, particularly Excel
