About the role

• Consultant in Information Security providing advisement and support for customer processes based on IT-Grundschutz standards. Involves risk management and security concept development.

Responsibilities

• Advise our clients on all matters of information security in accordance with the BSI IT-Grundschutz standards (200-series)
• Support the creation and further development of security concepts, including protection needs assessments, risk analyses, and Grundschutz checks
• Provide consulting and guidance in risk management according to BSI standards (IT-Grundschutz) with a particular focus on realistic assessment and practical prioritization of risks

Requirements

• Deep specialist knowledge in information security based on several years of professional experience
• Very good knowledge of the BSI standards (200-series), their methodology, and practical implementation
• Existing certification as a BSI-Grundschutz Practitioner
• Experience modeling IT system groupings (IT-Verbünde) using Grundschutz tools (e.g., HiScout, verinice)
• Desirable additional qualifications: knowledge of other relevant BSI standards, especially BSI 200-4 (BCM / emergency management) and ideally experience in the context of NIS-2
• Practical experience working with HiScout
• Experience in process and change management
• Basic knowledge of project management
• Experience or familiarity with public administration, in particular organizational structures, processes, and administrative procedures
