Responsibilities
Champion the growth and success of the Automotive Services business by improving industry positioning, diversity in offerings, and overall development of the business.
Refine and institutionalize the SBU’s Sales Governance Model with clear milestones which are strategically aligned to Harman Automotive’s vision.
Catapult Growth and Partnership tenets of the Sales Organization to think beyond the conventional Automotive market and include a larger ecosystem of organizations to redefine the positioning of the Automotive Services SBU.
Build and nurture Best-in-Class teams which embodies the key features of the Harman’s Cultural Transformation mindset to impact customer success and the overall growth of the Automotive Services business.
Represent Automotive Services SBU and act as a partner for the larger Harman Automotive leadership teams in common pursuits and shared responsibilities of Customer Success, Customer Retention, and overall growth.
Drive the growth of the SBU by charting strategies to acquire new customer relationships within the OEM and Automotive ecosystem.
Develop and amplify Market Attractive offerings with Integrated approach of Harman Automotive products and Solution. (Region specific, priorities and Account specific)
Develop new Engagement models to suit accelerated growth.
Business Contingency Planning centered on geopolitical shifts.
Strategic Market Control points in the evolving Automotive supplier value chain.
Partnership led Joint Model execution.
Technology and Business Model Adjacency Acquisition or JV.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electronics, embedded programming, software engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines
22-26 Years of Experience in Consultative Sales, Strategy, Engineering & Software Delivery, Transformation, within the Software Product and Services Industry.
10-15 Years of Experience in working with Automotive software products and services which includes working with Automotive OEMs.
Experienced as a Strategic Advisor, to build and develop trusted relationships with clients and work internally across distributed teams to bring clients the most comprehensive, end-to-end services to effectively address their projects.
Experience in leading and managing executive sponsorship management with customers evaluating the existing deal risks and dependencies.
Proven track record of funnel creation along with regulating and stabilizing funnel velocity with a hyperfocus on achieving targets.
Someone with keen insights into the overall deal closure status and mentoring the sales teams on deal closure strategies adapting to customer specific, industry specific, and geopolitical challenges.
Experienced in crafting win strategies and customer challenges as a priority for the business and collaboration with the distributed teams within organizations, leveraging the assets and intellectual properties.
Expert in building, developing and owning relationships with business, engineering and technology stakeholders, executives of clients.
Knowledge of modern electronic in vehicle architectures.
Further language skills such as Chinese, German, or Korean.
