About the role

  • Manager, Supply Planning at HARMAN overseeing end-to-end supply planning processes. Leading a team to balance cost, service, capacity, and risk across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end supply planning process—balancing cost, service, capacity, and risk across the network
  • Lead a team of planners, partner tightly across S&OP/IBP, interfacing with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics
  • Deliver exception-driven, scenario-based plans and decision-ready dashboards that improve service and inventory
  • Lead the monthly S&OP/IBP supply review; align inventory and service targets
  • Drive exception-based, scenario planning—codify planning rules, alerts, and ‘what-if’ simulations for supply disruptions
  • Partner with Data/IT to implement AI/ML-enabled supply planning processes
  • Standardize reporting cadences and automate data refresh/pipelines from ERP/APS to BI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Demand, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Commercial) to synchronize plan/execute

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related
  • 7+ years in supply/supply-demand planning with leadership experience
  • Hands-on expertise with at least one APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) platform (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Blue Yonder ESP, o9)
  • Strong analytics: advanced Excel plus Power BI and/or Qlik for KPI dashboards
  • Experience integrating supply planning data (capacity, lead times, inventory policies, exceptions) with financial metrics
  • Practical experience in root cause analysis using tools: A3PS, 8D, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Fishbone, Pareto, 5Y, Is-Is not, Cause and Effect.
