Responsibilities
- Serve as the Senior Payroll Specialist responsible for processing and reporting payroll for France
- Maintain a strong understanding of French payroll regulations, including various types of statutory leave
- Transfer employee data from the HR system of record to the payroll system
- Collaborate with HR and HR Shared Services to streamline payroll processes
- Process employee Time and Attendance data from the Time and Labour system
- Execute payroll close procedures, including reconciling payroll reports
- Contribute to promoting standardised processes and maintaining internal controls
- Submit monthly reports and declarations as required by French authorities
- Provide ad hoc statistical data to authorities as needed
- Support payroll tax audits and ensure timely resolution of employee queries
- Perform additional tasks as required, including supporting other EMEA payrolls within the team
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience working with a large ERP system and/or payroll provider
- Proven experience in French payroll
- Fluency in French (written and spoken)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
- Strong collaborator with communication, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
